Dr Anca Streinu-Cercel, has experience in academic teaching within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, through interaction with patients as resident, specialist, senior specialist infectious diseases physician, through working in the hospital, with inpatients, outpatients, and working on international clinical trials and international grants in the field of infectious diseases, COVID-19, HIV/comorbidities, hepatitis and many others. Also as academic activity coordinating diploma/license theses of medical students, and PhD students.

Actually coordinating the clinical research department at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Prof.Dr.Matei Bal?”as outpatient clinic and the inpatient Adult 5 Infectious Diseases and HIV department.

Starting 2024 is an Associated member of the Academy of Romanian Scientists.
